This is a unique design for an exquisite apartment and location.
The brief was to create an entertaining space, a garden to be enjoyed from the inside and somewhere to embrace the views.
The design consists of a metal ‘ribbon’ that moves across the roof terrace and transforms as it goes: from a bench to a breakfast height bar up to vertical screens, down into the planters. The vertical living wall and planters will increase biodiversity, improve the air quality and lower the temperature through plant perspiration.
We have now worked on two projects with Lucy. The first was a challenging project to design 'a garden in the sky!' for our London apartment which has wonderful views of London. The end result went above and beyond our expectations. Not only is it beautiful in the choice of planting (the bees and butterflies love them!) but it is also so functional with built in seating and more importantly - a bar table! It has changed our way of living in London. We had multiple layers of bureaucracy to overcome on this project and Lucy dealt with it professionally and calmly, and kept us sane in what was a very frustrating process - Client testimonial
